Our Story:
Qwirk was born out of a desire to shatter the limits of the recruitment norm. There are exciting connections out there ready to be made between people and businesses, but also a tendency to be limited by beliefs about what is and isn't possible. We don’t subscribe to limitations. Have a chat with us, we will always put our best foot forward for you.
Meet the founder
Cheryl is a seasoned recruiter with 10 years’ global recruitment experience predominantly focused in the UK and Australia. After graduating with an LLB Hons in Law at age 20 and working for an employment law firm in NYC, she was inspired to dig deeper to help people at a more grass-roots level so she left the legal industry in pursuit of a career where she could truly give other people a foot-up in the employment world. Joining a tech and digital recruitment agency in London gave her the opportunity to provide jobs for people hopeful of a career within the most booming industry of the century. It also afforded her a hall-of-fame recruitment career where she broke every company billing record and built an award-winning team of design, creative and tech recruiters, training each of them to recruitment ninja standards from scratch. A number of her trainees own their own successful recruitment businesses today.
After leaving London to travel the world and landing in pastures sunnier here in Bondi Beach, she spent an Insightful stint working within a strategic sales position within the Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) sector before leaving to have a baby. A year of mama life under her belt, she was recharged and ready to firmly leave her own creative stamp on the world of recruitment. So she built a company that reflected her passion to exceed all expectations and to AMAZE, a company without a subscription to limitation… and a company that truly uncovered the rarest Talent and allowed both businesses and individuals to fulfil their potential: Qwirk was born!
